
On October 14, 2025, in order to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of China and Afghanistan, and to assist Chinese enterprises in Uzbekistan in expanding into the Afghan market, the China Afghanistan Business Association and the Uzbekistan Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce jointly hosted the China Afghanistan Business Association and the Xinjiang Wulian Eurasia International Logistics Co., Ltd. co organized the China Afghanistan Business Cooperation Forum on Building a New Chapter on the Silk Road and the China Afghanistan Economic and Trade Cooperation Development Forum in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. This forum brought together nearly a hundred representatives of chambers of commerce and enterprises from both China and Arab countries. The event provided an efficient and practical cooperation platform for enterprises from both countries through keynote speeches, project recommendations, and cooperation signing.

The forum kicked off with a welcome speech by Liu Yu, Executive Chairman of the Uzbekistan China Business Association. President Liu Yu pointed out that the prospects for trilateral cooperation between China, Ukraine, and Arab countries are broad, and economic, trade, and investment are showing an increasingly close and favorable trend. The three parties have carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation in various fields such as infrastructure construction, energy development, and agricultural cooperation. The scale of trade exchanges continues to expand, and the level of cooperation is gradually improving. In the future, the three parties should further deepen their cooperation mechanisms, strengthen policy communication and coordination, fully leverage their respective advantages, tap into the enormous potential of the Afghan market, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, jointly promote the regional economy to a higher level, and bring more benefits to the people of the three countries. Since its establishment, the Uzbekistan Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce has been committed to promoting the localization development of Chinese enterprises in Uzbekistan. This forum, jointly held with the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce, aims to build an efficient docking platform through information exchange and resource docking, and promote the sharing of opportunities and joint development among Chinese, Ukrainian, and Afghan enterprises.

Ali Yang, Vice President of the Afghan Chamber of Commerce, expressed gratitude in his speech for the meticulous organization of the Uzbekistan China Business Association. He emphasized that the Afghan government is actively promoting economic reconstruction and has introduced a series of preferential policies, including tax reductions, land supply, and simplified administrative approvals, especially in areas such as agriculture, mining, and infrastructure construction where there is huge room for cooperation. Vice President Ali Yang called on Chinese enterprises to seize the opportunity, participate in the Afghan economic recovery process, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

The forum sets up a corporate promotion section to provide a display platform for Chinese and Arab enterprises. As a representative of the logistics field, Xinjiang Wulian Eurasia International Logistics, a member unit of the Chamber of Commerce, specializes in international freight transportation, warehousing and distribution, and supply chain solutions. We are willing to rely on professional services and extensive networks, low-cost logistics solutions, and fully support China Arab economic and trade cooperation to promote the prosperity and development of both sides.

The vice president unit of the Chamber of Commerce, Pengsheng Industrial Park, highlighted its operational experience as a benchmark project for China Ukraine cooperation, emphasizing the park's advantages in industrial agglomeration, technology transfer, and localized talent cultivation, and expressed its willingness to jointly build cross-border industrial chains with Afghan enterprises.

Hunan Zhongwei Group, the vice president unit of the Chamber of Commerce, shared its project cases in Central Asia and proposed ideas for cooperation with Afghanistan in multiple fields.

To ensure the implementation of the conference results, the Uzbekistan Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce and the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Cooperation during the forum. The memorandum specifies that both parties will establish a regular communication mechanism, share market information, jointly organize economic and trade inspections, and set up a special working group to promote key cooperation projects.

In the B2B docking stage, both companies engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as tariff policies, market access standards, and bilateral trade facilitation. During the negotiation process, both parties had detailed discussions on potential cooperation projects and reached multiple preliminary consensuses on key elements such as investment scale and cooperation mode. This docking meeting not only enhanced mutual understanding and trust between Chinese and Arab enterprises, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides in a wider range of fields. All participating companies expressed their intention to take this negotiation as an opportunity to continue promoting pragmatic cooperation and achieving mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
The successful holding of this forum marks a new stage of development for China Arab business cooperation, and the cooperation between the two sides will usher in broader space and more opportunities.
