Reports indicate that the project aims to provide free medical services for cataract and glaucoma patients in the southern region of Nigeria. According to the plan, Chinese medical experts will perform approximately 300 free ophthalmic surgeries for local patients between October 11 and 23, 2025.

It is reported that a grand welcome ceremony was held at the airport in Osh City, where hospital leaders and ophthalmology medical staff warmly greeted the arrival of the Chinese expert team.

The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan emphasizes that such medical cooperation projects not only deepen the cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China in the field of healthcare, but also significantly enhance the accessibility of high-quality ophthalmic medical services for local residents.
